The WEB General meeting was held at Debbie Sainer's home, with Nancy Dykeman co-hosting. Full dinner was provided. Thank you Debbie and Nancy!
Business Meeting
Outreach: Valerie Gluth recapped the recent cleaning at the Mountain Peace Shelter, stating there are many building and grounds issues that need addressing. Perhaps we can contribute to having slash and other trash around the shelter removed by a hauling company. It was suggested that EDS may donate to have this done. Since only three members were able to help on Sunday, perhaps we can schedule a Fall Clean-Up day.
Monetary Donations: Vicki suggested we purchase $200 - $250 in backpacks and school items again this year to be distributed to school children in need in the area. She will purchase all items and take them to be distributed.
Fundraiser: Jani McCarty has created fliers, tickets, donation forms and spreadsheets for members to use when collecting silent auction items. Forms are attached and can be downloaded directly from our website.
Open and print:
Tickets can be purchased at EChO, The Wild Bird Store, or directly from any member. We ask members to commit to purchasing at least two tickets each, preferably 5! This is our only fundraising event of the year and we look forward to increased outreach.
